1 Pyro - whoever has it can they put their hand up please and tell us what we have. From memory there were some large smokes, a bunch of 5 /10g E-dets and a bunch of mortar shells. ?

SB: SORTED

10x 12 gauge shells and trip triggers
32x thermo-smoke mortar rounds
5x small hand thrown smoke
1x large white smoke
10x 5g maroons

2 Det kit - ditto - who's got it . I don't plan on doing a large fixed barrage however if there is a lot of spare pyro the Germans may pre set up some bangs as a defence screen.

SB: SORTED

Orange Det Box with remote control - JK will have this by July
2x Homemade det triggers (unsure if these work)
Various lengths of cable on wooden reels
Large battery
Modern toolkit

3 Hand detonators - the Russian mission will involve putting on vehicle ambushes against the Germans sent out to get ambushed . Throwing hand held pyro is always crap , so if you have 3 teams of "ambushers" we need 3-4 simple easy way of detonating edets left at the side of the road . If no one has anything suitable I will make some in the next week or so . ALL / GK SORTED

4 Mortars and shells - Jay how many mortars do we have one big and one (or two small) . If we have two small then we'll give one each to either side and split the shells, if only one small then we'll need the large one for the Germans . JK

5 Parachute flares - these can be bought here. http://www.new.yachtparts.co.uk/index2.php?page=shop.product_details&product_id=2359&flypage=flypage_ypp.tpl&pop=1&manufacturer_id=13&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=67I'd like 6 please, 3 a side . They need to be the white ones as red is illegal to use - SB to order

6 Enigma machine - PD

7 Maps - GK to provide 10 maps and 2 large base ones. Not every player will have them

8 Game plan - V2 to come out next week - GK

9 Two 8x12 tan canvas tarpaulins for base camp . I hate the plastic ones ( recommend ebaying them cheap if Pete can be bothered to pick them up from Davids) . As a command shelter / shelter for players. Stephen can you buy these or do you want me to sort . We'll need some rope as well I can sort that .
http://www.tarpaflex.co.uk/acatalog/tan-canvas-heavy-weight-tarpaulin.html is cheapest. I bought a small one for the jeep it works well and is light . SB has ordered - I'll get the rope too. SORTED

10 2off 5gal water containers - PD

11 Russian Flag for Soviet base - GK. SB has many too SORTED

12 German flag for German base - SB SORTED

13 Table and chairs that we had at Jed would be nice Jay if you can find room for them . JK

14 4 or ideally 6 PMRs . GK has one , JK has one .....? SB has two crappy Binatone ones

15 Bandages , or do we not bother just tell em to bring em ? PD has a shed load.

16 Jeep - GK

17 Air raid siren ? optional JK

18 Mine detectors and mines PD

19 10 sandbags ....? PD has at least 9. SB has 21. SORTED

Think that's it ;-)

For hand det's, we could just use aeg batteries. I have 2 water jerrycans. Also, what about sandbags? Some of the Krauts seem to enjoy filling them and stacking them up, they would certainly make the German camp look good. Also, I'm arranging with David to pick up the mine detector and other stuff that he has. Once I have it all, I'll post up a list of exactly what there is.

We'll need tarps at least 3m x 3m to as well for a decent command post. They are pretty cheap though and, a good find Guy, I might even buy one for myself!

I'll bring a pair of small mortars. I do however need to know the exact dimensions of the shells we're using, as i'm going to manufacture a pair of liners so we can get away without using the individual shells (far less hassle - as shown at Devil's Hill). There will of course be a cost associated with this (not much though).

I will bring the table and chairs, plus, i've got a pukka original command map board. As to radios, i've got a pair of PMRs, so those will get chucked in the car as well.

I'll go through the prop stuff tomorrow.

I've got the pyro and det kit so will go through that.

Jay, the mortar I used at Devil's Hill was perfect without a liner. I just shoved the pyro straight into the tube and it worked perfectly.

I think I have German flags and all the tarps (cheap camo ones).

No probs. We've got plenty of dough at the moment. BTW, I've budgeted for £35 per player to IED.

Edited first post to reflect that I have a load of bandages and, at least 9 sandbags (more may surface as I get to grips with tidying the garage!).

cheers mate , actually I've got a cunning plan to make the tarps into an open ended tent / dining shelter. If you've not bought them yet I'll sort this out, make one , see what you all think than then if we like them make another one. Looking at the weather today  EDIT - noticed you have bought them already , I'll sort some poles etc .

I've also got various bits and piece on the way to make two copies of these using an aeg battery. You and Pete can have one each for blowing up my jeep , and jay an I will use the det box if required .

There is going to be an issue with the mortar rounds TLSFX are selling now. I was chatting to Tony and PD 3 or 4 weeks ago at FFZ's site, and they've gone back to using the 38mm casings. The ones we have at the moment at the 42mm ones (IIRC), so new liners would be required. Again.

Let me measure them when I get home. It'd be useful to know the diameter of the mortar tube too (not the liner).

At Devil's Hill we ditched the liner and fired them direct out of the mortar tube and they were going a LONG way.

If the newer ones are 38mm, would that 4mm tolerance really make a massive difference to the mortar's range?

Another 20 5gs would be good . I'm budgeting 5 per squad for Russian ambush stuff and 15 for a German base perimeter wired to blow. Could be done with less but why if you don't have too . You might like to think if you want soem freezer bags and compost for that more interesting explosion ( i can pick some up if you like)

16 mortar rounds a side should be fine .

Some more large smokes would be nice for atmosphere , say 3 ?

OK, the thermo-mortars I have are 38mm.

Guy, really?? 15 x 5g maroons around your base? Bearing in mind you're going to have to put exclusion zones around each one and clearly mark where they are and have eyes on each one your fire, is that really sensible?

Yes ....as long as you dont get too close.
BTW wasn't planning on putting all 15 on one ring FFS :slap: , three rings of five, one of which will be probably on the road in plain sight . We will have 24 hours , three small rounds of 5 as an artillery barrage should suffice I doubt we'll set them all up at 1 pm on the saturday :giggle:

They will be used in game though rather than as a static display , so if you start coming down the road  you can trust Jay and I with pyro ..you know this is true . Aprat form when I blew you up at Bryasnk but that was a long time ago
