The light-coloured one above the sten bandoleer IS for a Lee-Enfield (without a scope).
Never seen one with a pouch positioned like that? It might just be the ones I have but the flaps on mine open the same way as the slip. Not at 90 degrees to it like the repro. Small point and not at all important.

My repro is as shown there. Not bought from Warren, but may be the same source.
If they are the same as mine, they also have rings on the back for fitting a LE sling to use as a strap.
ye this was just a sample they sent me with the main order, i,l try and get the rest the right way

Is the repro's orientation an improvement? I mean was it done to improve its use, rather than by mistake? Would it be more useful if the originals were that way around?
Dunno, the originals take 1 bandolier of 50 rounds. Why/how would function be improved by moving the flap?

Agreed/Ditto. All of my genuine LE rifle slips of that pattern have the cleaning kit pouch with it's flap opening the same way as the main slip flap. Warren, is the muzzle end of the LE rifle slip padded?
