Can you get them to also take the MP40 mags? I heard they were a straight fit on the real guns?

ok re mags after a lot of thining and working out cost,s for the differant options,
i,v decided to go for a converted king arms mp40 mid caps,
the main reson is the capacity and the relative cheep start price, they will work out at approx £15 each or a shade over,

the other options were,
fitting standard mag internals into the sten shells, either mp40 or thompson, but the cost in
A, time,
B, sten mag shells
and C, the donore mags we,d be looking at 25+ eack, just to much,

the other good news is the feed tube/houseing is working a treet and will be cast in bronze and sit well in the mag well, good hop adjustment to from the right,

battery type,
is going to be a lipo, ok dount all kill me at once hehe, they have moved on alot since they were first out, and is the inly option for the sten, well the S&S sten

just the trigger to finish and i,l be able to get the first batch of 20 of to the casters,
then back to the M1 carbine lol,,

chris W from airsoft armouries will have the protertype, a Mk 2 with T stock, at the up and coming "road to caen" game this mounth, and it,l be a working model
so IF your alowed to play/touch her be jentle, as the trigger is the casting master, ta

the next few are of the stock and back sight arear,
the stocks are original and will be sold in your choice of T bar, wire, the wire will come out a little more in price as they are harder to find,, sorry
they can allso take the SOE type pistol grip,

the sten is totaly stripable just like the real gun, push the rear "botton" and the stock will slide down from the backsight/stock houseing,

please note this is the protertype so its a little "worked" from a few changes etc,

still to work out costings mate but i was expecting a shade over £400 but i,m a realist and will have to come down, but only if i can,

the main cost is the new gear box, wich is the M249 including the hop unit,
NOW, if you happen to have a G-Box then i,m happy to take of the cost etc so thats another possible saving,

this is nothing new as i,v allways worked like this including part ex and payment in instalments,
it,s a good way to pay defo atm,

Having owned a near mint condition deactivated Sten Mk2 until a few years ago I can safely that if that is the prototype I can't wait to see the production model as it already looks fantastic. If I am able to get myself a Sten it definitely be an S&S one after seeing those pictures, great work Warren.

Will they take the MP40 mags without any mods? I've got a stack so would want to bel able to use them in any Sten.

what i,m doing to the mags is,
milling/file down the the end of the mag to it can slide into the magwell, the sten mags are slitly angled at the end but the Mp40 is square at the end,
and allso filling in the two inset lines along the mag,

BUT, its a job you can do with a file, your only looking at approx 1.5 to 2mm to me tacken off,

this is because i,m useing a castings from a sten mag well, so its needs to be dun this way,

What kind of price on a group purchase ??
