With the demise of Dukla Pass and the organiser's half-hearted attempts to re-organise a Russian event for later in the year it gives us an opportunity to offer a CiA Russian-based game in early 2011.
So, any thoughts?
(By the way, 'Sandbox' was Webby's organising team which got hijacked and Webby asked to be removed from it as he didn't want to be part of it now Yith has made himself CO!)
Site really ought to more Midlands-ish and South-ish that North or West to be fair to southern players who will have had long hauls this year. Possibles: IED's Hay on Wye, Gunman Midland RAF Honiley, Free Fire Zone - any others?

Jay mentioned a whopping site down south.
What became of the discussions around Nescliffe?

Chap never came back with any options. I'll have another prod at him.

Russian front in January? Won't it be rather cold?
The site Jay mentioned sounded rather good. I also thought that the pictures of Cerberus' new site looked rather a lot like the rubble and ruins of a destroyed town or city. Nesscliffe would only be any good for an Eastern Front battle like early Barbarossa, or somewhere like Kursk.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Nescliffe: Pripyat Marshes?

One of the reasons why Yith's event didn't get much of a response (apart from being lacklustre and ignored) was so few people have proper Russian kit. Brown greatcoats aplenty of course so Jan/Feb would be ideal.
The Cerberus quarry site cries out for a summer event I think, a hot, dry and dusty N Africa/Crete/S Italy etc etc.
Edit: I've attempted to make contact with Op Tactical to pick up where it got left...

1: I'm waiting for Tom and John @ Elite to tell me when they've signed on the dotted line for Pyestock (sorry boys, its Hampshire!)
2: There is a new site called Urban 6 opening in Staffordshire in October this year. Pics below:
