October, any time would work. Clocks don't go back until 30th Oct. In any case, playing on an urban site in gloom or darkness is easier and safer than woodland IMHO!

I've got a rather large library of books on Stalingrad, so i'll be reading through them to find the *perfect* scenario. "Pavlov's House" seems quite an interesting one off the top of my head. As to timescale, late October would be best for me (uni shite wise)
As to running it, I don't intend to take any active part in the fighting. I'll be co-ordinating the sides and spending a lot of time blowing shit up, setting smoke pots off etc - just to create some "battlefield ambiance". Regaring the gameplay, i'm aiming towards the Borsyzn Loop style of play. Some sneaky, some outright meat grinder. The overall plan is simple: land domination. There will however be sub missions put in there as well (delegate sniper teams to take out HVT's, putting in and cutting field comms lines etc etc)
Props wise, the only thing thats going to be required is pyro. Lot's of it. I'll be dealing with "bangs in boxes" most of the time, plus smokes. "Big pyro" wise, I propose a fuck off sized BiB artillery barrage to start the event, and after that, the rest will either be BiB friction ignited or hand thrown.
