well having sifted through all the missions, we have a conclusion, but first big shout to US squad 2 who filled their mission reports in with great detail and I could read it all Including information of the interrogation of the German officer they captured, confirming Hitler only has 1 ball and the other is in the Albert Hall and his Mum was a dirty scrubber ! so Top Intel there
Victory goes to the Allied Side, they managed to thwart the Axis advances towards Colli and more than hold their own, Colli remains Under Allied control, though Axis forces fought well and valiantly, some would say (me) that the Allied base location is a Help but the points bonus to the axis side should reflect that, but it swings around as In January Axis forces on the outskirts of Cervaro who are holed up and prepared for the Allied Advance are ready and waiting, knowing they must stop the allies or next stop Cassino.
Some great scrap's all day and not a single moan reached my ears, but having spoken to all the commanders all I can say THANK YOU one and all for playing the game in the right spirit from start to end and buying into what we try and do, to host games on our small site and have you guys keep coming back for more does humble us, but it's a large team effort to make these happen and work that involves everyone that comes. anyhoo before I get all emotional quick mention in dispatches
for 2 Allied players
Richard Kendrew
Cameron Thomson
who both in different actions during the day took out an enemy Zug with a grenade. both these players are 34th (so god knows how that happened)
so we are back in January as the Allied forces tackle Axis resistance on the outskirts of Cervaro, wrap up warm it's going to be a cold one ...
the last thing before I go, the picture below is of the 3 fine British officers holding an Ammo dump safely as the rest of their squad fight and die well trying to take a Farmhouse ahead of them
Good show, old chaps! They gave their lives bravely for King and Country while we held the objective. Pip pip!
Regards,
Ralph

The objective was the ammo dump, but the brave outpost action kept Jerry busy. The_next_ objective was the farmhouse, which we then just walked into, when Jerry had gone away.
If only people would pay attention at the O group...
