Thank you and Photos post 🙂
Thanks Chris and Co for a great day. I'm always impressed with the amount of effort that goes into making these game games. Lots of great memories to take away with me and had a good mic of sneaky beaky mission with some tense firefights. Good fighting from the Germans all day and I'm happy to report there were no blue on blue casualties
Special thanks to number 3 squad for putting up with me all day
P. S. RIP my poor sten gun with its melted mosfet
Just to echo Ralph's comments, great day all round, probably the best game yet.
Thanks to everybody involved.
Mahoosive thank you to Chris who puts in so much thought and effort into these games and to everyone that helped out.
The individual parcels were a great idea. Grown men opening prezzies like it was their birthday.
Thanks to everyone that attended and made the day such fun, particularly those that travelled from far and wide.
Some great moments; Nick's rolling death at the trenches was great. Lots of pistol kills and a knife kill really made my day
Was great to team up with Wiggy and Rich who usually play on the opposing side too. Was good to play alongside somebody that kills the enemy with grenades and not their own team. (I count myself in the latter)
Was totally knackered by the end of the day, which is always a good sign.
PHOTOS THAT I TOOK ARE UP ON FACEBOOK
Many thanks to Chris, Martin and the rest of the Fireball crew. Great game as always, loved the mail parcels, nice touch Also commendations to the rest of the Brit squad, it was a nice change to play for the good guys for change
Yes, that was a very enjoyable day out. Like Chef, I also enjoyed playing British again for a change. It was great to meet Kieran at his first WW2 game, and who got on with the rest of the section in no time at all. Hard to come to something like this on your own, so well done.
I can't remember much about the individual missions, although there seemed to be an awful lot of walking around the site, but it can't have been that far as I only lost a couple of hobnails. Some good sneaking around, some great pyrotechnics and some good scraps, all in beautiful weather - what more could you ask?
Many, many thanks to Chris for putting all this together at such short notice, and to all the other players for making such a good day of it. I'm already looking forwards to January (when we can hopefully get our greatcoats out again).

on a personal side, my first visit to Fireball, well worth the drive up, and the first time walked all day without my stick!
glad you had a good day Andy as I know you drove quite far after I felt like I did need a walking stick I was shattered lol
