I got all my Brit webbing from SOF. It's decent stuff and feels very solid. :good:

It's like discovering God next to German webbing. Piece of piss to take on and off and very practical.

Oh yes, ignore anyone who tells you German or Yank LBE is better. British '37 pattern is practical and doesn't fall apart the moment you take it off. :)

I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

Answering on behalf of Dom_e for a monent, he already has a basic set of '37 Patt webbing, but reckons the mags for his STEN won't fit into the ammo pouches, so he's wanting something else to carry them in.

He should be fine. Never had problem fitting mine in. Never need to carry more than 4 in a game most of the time.

I've got a Finnish respirator bag you're welcome to use, if worse comes to worst.

Don't forget with ammo being limited to 150 rounds per life, you won't need to carry loads of mags.

I think they fit, mate. People more familiar with Brit kit will confirm it, but putting them in at an angle they should be fine.

Yep, that's exactly right. Bit of a tight fit but they will go in. I've got a spare pair of P37 Canadian quick release type which I want to get rid off. If anyone wants them for £5 on Saturday morning give me a shout.

Looks like one of the guys coming with me has jumped ship before the beaches. I now have a plastic British helmet for lend lease to Rhys or Louis if needed?

Having looked into it it is actually possible to get dedicated Sten Magazine pouches to replace your standard 37 webbing pouches... at £35 a pair though :/

I really wouldn't bother, mate. Like Razorlight said, it'll fit okay in what you have. Plus, the pouches you have already are the definitive look.

I've tried! They will only *just* fit in and the lids won't close. It is possible that my shrunken canvas has shrunk a bit too much! The Sten pouches I've found don't look any different externally tbh, to the casual observer.

it's more than likely shrinkage , give them a soak then place some cardboard at the bottom ,put the mag's in and stretch the poppers into place and then let them dry(you can use extra packing to retain a nice shape) .once dry remove the mag's and cardboard and the mag's should be a nice easy fit ,it's the same process with the water bottle holders ,they shrink so much you can barely get the bottle in let alone do up the poppers but if you soak them insert the bottle and some extra packing once it dry's remove the packing and it's an easy fit.

This idea works with somethings but i'v tried it with a condom & it want stretch them the bloody things always rip apart.

I can get 6 Sten mags in each of mine, It's tough to close the popper with a full load but as I only have 6 mags thats not much of an issue. If it solves the problem I could probably lend a King arms Sten mag, they hold about 135 so with a 150 round limit theres not much point carrying spare mags.

Hi everybody
I am very new to ww2 airsoft so I am lacking some kit...
that is to say all I have is a pistol :(
If anyone would be willing to spare a rifle and some basic uniform I would be most obliged :)
