Ryan and I had an excellent weekend - I was really under the weather I'm afraid (with a revolting cold) but the gameplay and the Saturday night were both brilliant and took my mind of my man flu perfectly.
Thanks to everyone involved in planning and organising it, I assure you it is very much appreciated by all of us who played - I don't think I heard a single moan all weekend,
And thanks also to jerry a trick (peter) for the pyros and smoke - made the attacks come alive....
Thank you one and all for a great weekend
Paul
A big thank you to All those at Southern Army Division who prepared a great WW2 event, outstanding props and game play, thanks to all that attended for Tim and the money raised in his memory, cant say much more than BRILLIANT DAY THANKS
Hi all
Not only did we have a game but it raised a sizeable amount of cash for a charity that would have probably madeTim chuffed & proud to be associated with all of us & it shows that not all Airsofters are arsewholes so well done.
Again I must say what a fantastic day I had & the evening was good with those that stayed too.
I'm sorry not all things went to plan for example how was i to know that the German high command didn't know how to turn on something simple like a remote detonator.
It all worked out OK in the end but I did feel like that Sargent in band of brothers who ran through the Germans lines at foy to give some orders to his men & then turn & run back again.
I'm not bigging myself up but even if was impressed with how good the barrages went plus the visual effects made it that much better than just having the bangs & i'm still thinking of things to do to make it even better for the next time.
I hope you all enjoyed it as I did & thanks to the organisers for letting me loose with my pyro as those that know me know I do like making some noise.
I hope most of you don't feel as I do at the moment ( totally f####d)
Last thing well done to all especially the organisers & I hope to see most of you next time but until then
See ya.
Peter.
What a great day. Too many great memories to mention, from our blitzkreig on the US Base to our literal suicide mission against the British Base. Thanks to all the organisers for everything you did. Thanks Peter for the pyro effects. Thank you to Lutz, Martin and Matt for leading our Gebirgsjäger zug. Thanks to the allies for putting up a great fight all day.
Regards,
Ralph
I forgot I do hope someone has got some good photos of the day because as always I just keep forgetting to turn on my camra as I get to engrossed in the game or have other things to do (like blowing shit up)
See ya.
Peter.
Brilliant day out guys. Thanks for all those who made it such an excellent event to attend to. Big thank you to all the organisers as well!
Sven
Brilliant day.
Thanks to everyone for making it such an enjoyable day. Southern Army Division for the months of planning and prep you put in
Peter, great work on the pyro and thanks for getting you melons out again.
Josh for the site.
The players
Excellent day!! thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice to see some new faces and, of course, some old ones. Loved the assault on the US base and rolling battle along the german ridge. It all worked really well and hats off to you guys for the what must have been some pretty complex planning. I was also amazed at the final figure for Tims charity. It says a lot about Tim and also about the motley crew that make up our WW2 airsoft community.
Well done guys!!!
This was my first WW2 airsoft experience and it was incredible! Huge thank you to all the organisers for planning some really great battles/scenarios yesterday. Very atmospheric, especially the US/British assault on us on the ridge, manning the MG nest was mental!
Would be great to see some of the photos of all the action, will be posted on here?
Thanks everyone for making it an unforgettable experience. Will definitely be coming again.
Ethan
A huge thank you to the game organisers for putting on this event and to the players for their great sportsmanship. Thanks also to Pete for the pyro and later the melon, that was very welcome at the end of a hard day.
I had a great day with some great scraps and some great laughs which is what it's all about.
It was also great to see how much money was raised for The Dog's Trust too.
My only regret, and it is slight, is that I didn't don my Gebirgsjäger gear and join the Jerries, as they looked awsome!
All in all a very fitting day's tribute to a very gentle man!
Thank you very much, that was a great weekend with lots of memorable moments and great team work. I'm still a bit wrecked so post up a few more thoughts when I'm a bit more together.

As always, a huge thank you to all the event organisers. You know who you are!
What a fantastic day (and night for that matter). The weather Gods were smiling on us all day and I am sure I can say, a great day was had by all.
It is just so sad that Tim couldn't make it.. He would have loved it.

Awesome game The amount of smokes was incredible.
Big thank you to the organizers for creating great battles and scenarios, especially the end assault from the allies.
I can only echo what has been written, great day, great organisation, great place, the best bunch of people, not forgetting Peter's explosive manner!
Totally knackered me, walked around yesterday doing my impression of Kenneth More, acting as Sir Douglas Bader.

Thank you to everyone who attended this weekend and for really getting into the spirit of the game; for those of you who are new to the scene, hopefully it whetted your appetite for more and we'll see you at the next one! To the old sweats, always good to see everyone and catch up over a couple of beers the night before...the social can sometimes be the highlight of the weekend!
Thanks to my fellow organisers for all your hard work over the last few months, and big thanks to you poor buggers in the Para section who had me for a leader you all followed any orders given to a T, and I saw no lone wolfing or any of that nonsense - hats off to your all
Just to add my voice to the chorus.
A wonderful day, thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing props, kit levels, pyro and game play. A fitting send off for Tim and a marvellous contribution to The Dogs Trust.
Well done and thank you to S.A.D.
Cheers

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.
As already mentioned by everyone else,
Thank you for an amazing day!
The atmosphere was epic, I managed to fell quite a few unsuspecting allies, especially in the AA MG42 pit on the German defences during the final battle!
Thank you to the organisers and everyone else for making it an experience!
