Thought I would ask again as this may have been missed the first time?

Eversley doesn`t suit vehicle movement there is only one track and the way the game is being played out there is no scope for movement of troops by vehicles. You are most welcome to turn up in a WW2 vehicle i expect you would have a lot of interest and photo opportunity but unfortunately the site doesn`t lend itself to vehicles :(

Ok thanks for letting me know, I did use one of my jeeps there about 5 years ago but I understand the site has changed a fair bit since then, ( the weasel doesn't need roads  )I won't bring if we can use it though, thanks for the heads up
:good:

I have PM`d you Weasel is OK to bring :good:

can't wait to see the weasel. Ref Chris' (watsit) camera, i was in his squad at vierville and tbh you didnt even notice it on the side of his helmet, it's about the same size as a car key fob, the battle footage video from the event looked amazing too :good:

Hi guys,

I have a question regarding helmet cameras.

I was allowed to wear one at the Vierville game as it was quite discreet and with the scrim on my helmet it blended in fairly well.

Will we be allowed to wear them again? I'll be part of the Brit Para section so I can always put some more scrim onto my helmet to conceal it.

If not, what is the situation on Photographers/Videographers being allowed to film and shoot all the action on the day?

Thanks

I remember you at Vierville and didn`t see the camera. As long as it is well hidden under scrim on the helmet I am sure it will be OK. We just don`t want these contraptions which are on the helmets which look like Night vision goggles if you get the meaning.
I guess small is beautiful

If I don't notice it, I can't comment, if he looks like a dalek with a bloody great go pro strapped to his forehead like so many airsofters seem to do now days, he will be asked to remove it. Fair enough?

I'd agree with this - really wasn't visible in passing and the video it produced was outstanding :good:

I'll see what it looks like attached to my helmet. The large amounts of hessian definitely helped hide it. But if it doesn't look great and sticks out like a sore thumb perhaps I can hide it in a Shell Dressing?

I can lend you a Denison,if needed.

Just a quick one regards uniform choices.

Will there be guidelines for each of the booking options? Just that being on a health kick has meant none of my uniforms fit anymore so have to think about buying stuff which I cant really afford :D

Be good to know if there is some wiggle room somewhere like maybe British windproof smock instead of having to have Denison etc.

Ta very muchly. :good:

Tried the camera I used at Vierville on my Para helmet a few weekends ago at a game. I feel like it sticks out a lot more, but then again there is less hessian on my british helmet than my US one. Thoughts organisers?

I'm going to Malvern next weekend so I'll pick up a shell dressing to experiment with.

Cheers

I think that will be fine if you just wrap a hessian Strip around it to just change the appearance a little. :good:
