Hi there,

Came to Op Mist last December and was a great day.
I'll be coming as US infantry

Also, I'd like to bring a friend or family member along with me, but I only have gear for myself, so if anybody has any spare US kit + weapon I'd appreciate it if I could borrow it for the day, let me know and we can discuss.

Looking forward to this one.

Couple questions, will there be a hq that we'll be operating from where we can leave gear, food, back up guns etc?

Also, my Bren can only carry 1000 bb's in a mag and I only have 1 mag. Can I carry an extra 1000 bb's on me to reload it in the field to reach the 2000 bb limit?

Regards,

Ralph

Today, I lost 1st and 2nd gears on my old car, now it might only be a pin on the gearshift mechanism, ( hopefully). But it could be inside the the box, I won’t know until tomorrow when I get underneath the old piece of junk. If it’s the gearbox then I don’t suppose it will be sorted in time for the game.
It’s possible I might be able to borrow a car for that date, so not all is lost. Will report more tomorrow.

Got it sorted, bloody cable end came off, and a regular nightmare to put back on, pissing down with rain wasn't a great help either. Probably just through wear and tear, nylon ball end clip onto metal ball, couldn't get to it to wire it on for safety, so it could pop out again........but I know now how much swearing needs to fix it.
So back on the road with the festering heap of Spanish shite!

Quick question Seg.
i might have another lad coming with me, i can kit him out in my spare british infantry uniform & helmet, but iv only got spare P58 webbing. would that be a suitable stand in for P37? also given the lack of british infantry, would they be folded in with the para unit?

cheers

Really looking forward to the game. 60 players so far - good stuff! So, two questions;

> are single shot sniper rifles also set to max FPS of 370 with .2’s?
> for German 506 volks grenadier, is Camo allowed or should it be standard grey (for the late war Heer). I have a nice set of reversible white smock/trousers so I’m praying for snow (lol) but would be interested to know if the splinter/marsh Camo on the reverse is ok. (Seems some games reserve Camo for ss identification). If not I’ll stick with standard late-war coat, etc.

Cheers,
Ed.

Bolt actions are max 500fps (30m med).

Heer used camo in abundance and there's been no ruling against it here (why would there be :) ).

I've got a Bren skeleton vest he could use. Also depending on what size he is I have a Battle Jerkin to lend out.

Ralph

he is scrawny mate. no where near as well fed as us.
i like the sound of those two vests though, going to be googling them now.

Edit: the battle jerkin looks like a cracking bit of kit. much better thought out than the american d-day assault vest.
