Thanks Chris and the team for organising an amazing day. So many good memories made today. I felt the site was very atmospheric with how dense the foliage was making it feel as though there could be an enemy squad pop out of anywhere. Stand out moments for me were the banzai charge in the morning, the pistol mission at the wall, setting up the temple and the big scrap we had at the end of the day

Thanks to the glorious squad 1 for lots of great banter and for really getting into the spirit of the game. Also thanks to Americans for some good scraps today.

Banzai!

Regards,

Ralph

Yes, that was great, it worked really well at Eversley particularly as the site had grown into a hot, sweaty, insect infested jungle! Really nice mixture of different tasks and of course the hugely enjoyable sword charges.

Apologies to Squad 1 for disappearing at the end of the day, I lost you all in the jungle and wandered around for some time trying to find you, but eventually gave up as my feet were killing me.

I've done a medal which I'll put up later.

Rested now,

so BIG THANKS to all those that came, we got the weather we booked :) this was a bit more simple game from the first game I wrote for this, but due to losing a prop car and not expecting to be able to make it myself, but from my point of things worked well :)

I have had no issues brought to me and was some great gameplay and everyone getting into the spirit of the game :) To all the Japanese players it was a pleasure to play alongside you all :) I suspect the Emperor would have been happy

and after 4 of these games now I got to do a Banzai charge lol where we died gloriously, many thanks to toms squad for not shooting the hell out of us :) which brings me to thank you squad leaders, it's an important role and keeps the game and your squad flowing :)

and normal service was resumed as I killed my self with a grenade when a tree threw it back at me :(

A big thanks also to Matt and Martin for bringing and taking me back :) also Martin did this game and then went back home to do a 40 mile walk for charity and as I write this may still be going :)

Josh for being a superstar as always and letting us use his great site and his kids for the nice get well picture for my wife which she loves :)

only downsides to me were once again ripping a pair of trousers, and my jackboot sole flapping around everywhere

cheers

Yes, indeed a great game, banzai charges most amusing! Very well planned the way the japs could sneak up! I was with a great squad, Tom, 1st class leader, everyone enthusiastic, good to meet friends old and new.
Great gameplay on both sides, got some good shots in, and got same back from those dastardly japs!

Great day as always...thanks to Chris, Martin, Josh and all for helping g put on the event. My first Eversley and did not disappoint!
Perhaps the first day back airsofting, and playing WWII after a motorbike accident and not walking....a little ambitious?

I got through although did nap at a few of the take and hold locations.

Thank you as always to Chris and his helpers in running another successful PTO game. Making our way through thick undergrowth aware that we could be jumped by a mostly unseen enemy at any moment racked up the tension no end, not to mention hearing those damn whistles and then a blood chilling BANZAI! scream!

We were reminiscing during a break that five or six years ago, running a Pacific game was nowt but a pipe dream. Whereas now they are one of the most anticipated games on the calendar! Well done on making this happen Chris! :D :good:

I can just echo comments made before. For me the atmosphere was perfect. Eversley felt like a real jungle with the enemy potentially everywhere. Even the cowboy village with its wooden building was fitting into it especially after we set up the shrine and had some Sake :-) Thanks again to Chris and his team to organise it. Keep them coming. I don't think there's much I can add to everyone else's comments. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The tense anticipation of getting ambushed at any moment was great. Our squad got wiped out half an hour into the game! Lesson learnt, it didn't happen. Excellent gameplay on both sides. Thanks to Chris and crew for a great day.

Exceeded my expectations being a Newbie jap. It was great fun and thanks to Chris and the gang for putting it on. Had a real laugh with our squad who all put in great effort walking miles to `Stay on Mission`. Yes our legs were shorter at the end of the day with 3 out of the 5 in our squad making a nice round 172 years young. You do the Maths :giggle:

Thanks again for a great day

I can only echo what everyone else has said. Great fun day all round. Booked in for Burma, will bring more sake and get back to trawling Hiki for some proper kit so I dont stand out as much in a beige shirt!

Till next time.

Sadly I had to leave early on in order to get back in time to then travel back down south a bit for a midnight 40mile trek throughthe cotswolds.

Had a cracking game, lots of tension and some great scraps.

Gameplay & sportsmanship was top notch.

The site was perfect for the game too. Loved it.

Thanks all, but particularly Chris & his better half.
