We had a brilliant time even though i was not expecting to be in command of Easy Company, i tried my best and i think i done ok :D. The site and the game was awsome and my hat goes off to one of the Belgium guys jeff for carrying the radio all day Saturday. Thankyou to my squad for getting into the different game rules as for most of them it was their first ww2 shoot. But the biggest thankyou goes to josh and all his merry men for a brilliant day you got it spot on again guys, keep up the hard work :good:

Guys,

I have read the forum on this game and can only conclude that I was at a different game - ????

I thought the game and location was excellent - kit was excellent on both sides with the correct weapons and the vehicals were really good. the site was great too - good cover and open areas, and the field about 4pm looked awesome with troops moving through and smoke everywhere.

I was in combat for most of the game, I saw no cheating or bad game play, I think the germans were perhaps a bit better co-ordinated (I was in German Para Kit) but both sides seemed to me to do the right thing. The only observation for me was that the german groups really stayed focussed in the areas ordered to defend, whereas the allied attacks came on in smaller groups - ( good for us) easier to pick off.

That said, I got fully auto-ed by thompsons a couple of times which leaves a sting - must learn to run faster when they get close, I only ever use semi-auto with an M14 conversion - but thats how I play.

Great game, loved it and really enjoyed the experience - cannot wait for the next one.

A good fun game, with good attack and counter attack, brave first use of armoured vehicles and an excellent site, not to mention the huge numbers of players all well kitted out .All of the vehicles really made for a very unique event, just hearing the growl of engines enhanced the feeling and atmosphere. I think too much fuss has been made of the few players new to the scene and trying something for the first time not quite getting it right, it's a lot to take in first time out.

i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......

...brave first use of armoured vehicles...

Definitely not the first use of armoured vehicles in a WW2 airsoft game (but may well be the first time you have been in a game with them  )

Heh, it was the first time ever heavy armour has been knocked out by a working bazooka/panzerschreck - which was very cool. Much better and more of challenge than lobbing Mk 5s. Sticky bombs next please!

Yes, we knocked out Oddballs tank by infantry close assault, but destroying an AFV with a bazooka type weapon is certainly a first.

It was great to see the GMC out and about as well, rather than just parked up.

Cheers
