Guys, I just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work. Great work on the site installations, great organisation, great leadership, great squad co-ordination.
Come and share the various plot lines, because obviously, working in a number of different squads, we did not get to know them all.
P.S. Where's my medal?!

Agreed, brilliant day!
Thanks to everyone for making us relative newbies feel welcomed.
Highlight of the day would be being mortared by the Brits , and that .30cal.

Many thanks to the organisers for putting on another great event by Gunman
I think that we all felt the weather especially the germans in full wools (may of been a bad desicion lol).
Best part of the day has to be when we made the Heer assault across the stream where I got four kills with a k98
All round a great event!
Thanks , Niall
Oh dear
Someone's said something wrong!!
Who's going to get a very embarrassing red face then.
Anyway just like to say cheers lads.
I think I was right in saying that today was an epic day with what I could see all good hit taking & fair play.
Thanks for all the best wishes from everyone who spoke to me & I hope to see you all again as soon as I can even if it's just to make some noise (you know me)
Two things, I hope you all enjoyed the treats & Gordon & Co I hope you continue organising such good games for our pleasure.
Cheers
Peter
P.S. Hope you raised plenty for H4H.
Well what can I say that has,nt been said before, a well run day by hard working organizers. Thank you every body, tiring (especially an old guy like me) but very enjoyable ,at least it was,nt raining.
Colin
Thanks Gordon for such a great day. Thanks to my fellow Brits for the banter and great teamwork all day. Really enjoyed ambushing Jerry at the top of the hill in the morning and taking the mortar pit after a stirling defence by the Germans. Also the vickers, 30 cal, mortars and bazooka's were great fun.
Special thanks to Peter for the lovely grub throughout the day
Regards,
Ralph
Cheers Gordon and the gang for a great event though I had to retire at lunch time due to health problems , but I still had a great morning, shame I sunk in the bog up to my knees, thanks to those of my squad who pulled me out
A great day ,very smoothly organizd and very fairly played by all .Always nice to see lots of rifles ,I used mine all day and rarely felt out gunned so plenty of the German's must have been ruifling as well ,I loved the ambush first thing in the morning to help free the Americans and our failed attempt in the afternoon to storm the German base .Thanks also to Jerry A Trick for the water melon and hope to see (and hear ) you soon fella ! All the best ,even if you are off your feel theres still the forum .

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all

Many thanks to the organisers for putting on another great event by Gunnman

Ahem... it's a Gunman site, but it wasn't a Gunman event!
I see from the photos there were field guns and hedgehogs - didn't see any of those myself. And a crashed glider, I heard ?
Also great to have some new guys coming to their first event - hope you liked it and will come again.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
My thanks also to the organizers. Brilliant day, well planned scenarios.
Thanks to Peter for the strawbs, water melon and the pyros....all for a good cause.
Wishing you well.
Would definitely go again. Used my PPS all day...though think the hop up is maybe defunct. Screw seemed to turning freely from the off.
Thanks a lot for a really fun weekend. The organisers put in a lot of time and effort and it showed. It's not even a case of massive props and pyro (that was cool mind!) but little things like signs and propaganda posters that set the scene. Well done.
Big thanks to Gordon, Graeme and Vince for putting on another cracking event - the weather and site was challenging, but i dont think i heard any negativity at all during the day
Thank you again to Peter for providing fruit, choccy and things that go bang - really added to the atmosphere and enhanced the event.
Good to see familiar and new faces, looking forward to the next one
Cheers to Gordon and Co for a great day. Good sportsmanship and gameplay and cheers to Peter for the awesome pyro (and strawberries, of course, nectar!!).
I loved the scrap up at the german mortar pits and the battle for the german base. The para's brave charge at the end was great to watch but the poor buggers never stood a chance.
Throughly enjoyed the Friday night social and meeting a few new faces and getting to know some of the older ones a bit better.
Great day all in all and I hope the new guys enjoyed themselves.
I really enjoyed myself. Thanks to all. The glider was really exciting!
Funniest part of the day for me was getting stuck knee deep in the marsh, and having to be pulled out. Without that man, I may still have been there...
Thanks to Gordon, Graham and Vince for putting together a brilliant day, loved it. Thanks Pete for the awesome Pyro and of course the fruit and choc! It was great to see so many new players as well
Cheers to Gordon and Co for cracking day, well run and organised with lots of good props which added to the experience, thanks to Peter for the melon, very refreshing after tabbing around in wools!
Well done chaps, roll on September

Just want to add my thanks to Gordon and the guys for putting on a fantastic game. The conditions were challenging but the organisers tailored the game to suit and as far as I was concerned, it all ran seamlessly. At no time did I find the 200 rounds per life limiting although you know you're in trouble when you're down to six rounds in the Webley.
Fantastic effort and gameplay from all and will certainly book in when you run another
Not much to add to the comments above really. Thank you to the organisers for putting on a great day out, and to all the players for really getting into the spirit of it. Great to see old friends and make some new ones, and the Friday night social was good fun (glad I slept at the other end of the site though ).
I rifled it all day, got through two mags, so the 200 round limit wasn't really an issue. Got four confirmed kills, which is always very satisfying with a springer, and also managed two bayonet charges, one of which actually made it into the enemy position. Many thanks to the long suffering troops of 1 section as I led them into bloody death time after time, and iron crosses all around to the brave Germans who charged over that stream.
Cheers
Martin

Can only echo what everyone else has said, top notch day and a big thanks to Gordon, Graham and Vince. Had a great time, superbly organised, can see all the time and effort that was put into this event.
