What an awesome day's Airsoft. Thank you Chris for organising such a great day. Lots of good scraps especially from the British. Special thanks to my fellow Gebirgsjäger for some great teamwork and banter.
Highlight of the day for me was when the British squad walked right into our ambush at the Farmhouse, despite the fact we weren't expecting them to come from that way
Didn't hear any grumbles all day either so we'll done everyone for the great sportsmanship
Regards,
Ralph
Great day all round, nice to catch up with a few old friends as well.
34th games get better every time.
Massive thanks go to Chris for putting on this game and doing all of the hardwork behind the scenes.
Also, thank you to all of the players today for playing within the spirit of the game and making the day run so smoothly. I had a fantastc day playing Gerry for a change and loved using my PPS K98 and pistol despite the cold. Totally knackered now though.
Well done to the British section. You were all stars. Running about six bolt action rifles was tough work against a wall of MP40’s, but we did rather well... unfortunate map reading aside that i’ll blame Westy for... because.
Until next time.
Yes, a great day out and very enjoyable. I really liked the idea of the linked/rolling missions, I thought they worked very well indeed.
Going out on our G J ice pick mission was hilariously disastrous and hopefully a welcome revenge for the long suffering Brits. We didn't see huge numbers of Americans all day.
The rain gods were also merciful.

Thanks to Chris and every body involved, a fantastic day. Killed a few times managed to escape a few times by them cunning Jerry, brilliant ambush must say. A good bunch of folk allround made a great day.

Well a Big THANK YOU to all that came, it was nice to see everyone make the effort with great load outs all the squads looked great, clearly not as good looking as the Gebirgsjäger but still great
Thanks to all the Gebirgsjäger made it a pleasure to play all day even though I ache like hell now, some great sneaking around and some good scraps, shame we never managed to get a hammer kill, but always next time I won't leave it 4 years to play German again...
Everyone else well done, some great scraps, play and battles that I keep hearing about, everyone took the game onboard with no issues that I am aware of, which make these game a pleasure to run
I hope no one went home diabetic as they were the biggest supply boxes we have done and for once I was quite good and only had 2 small items #dietssuckballs
Brits Well done for fielding so many rifles, we had some good scraps with you guys, and my first shot from my p38 got a kill which made my day, and it was great watching you guys dug in fighting the last 2 Gebirgsjäger alive at the supply base, rifles > pistols but it was a good scrap, though we did fear the worse when we were at the supply base and could see all 3 allied squads facing us at distance, thankfully only your squad came to wipe us out lol and I shall still blame it on Badger's negative vibes over my Leadership decision: whistle:
The USA where were you we had a few skirmishes and that was it, must have been fighting the SS and the 3rd Zug, though special note to Phil who sniped 2 of our squad from a good distance when we thought we were safe, Bravo Sir!
right off to shower my weary bones again until next time
I shall try to edit a few photos i took today and look forward to seeing Pedros from the other side
Also big thanks to everyone helped take stuff out and bring it all back in
