I'm mostly packed and beginning to panic. Plan is train to Langley tomorrow Morning (or rather later this morning) and then cycle 17 miles along the grand union canal to the site. It could be a great ride or it could be hell depending upon how the bike handles the load. Google says it will take an hour and a half but this doesn't take into account how much I am carrying or how difficult it will be to pass the many rather nice looking pubs along the way
If anyone sees a guy in a slouch hat swerving all over the place on a bicycle as they approach the site, feel free to offer assistance as I will either be knackered, having difficulty with the overloaded bike, or drunk
Me and a mate are driving up on Saturday morning from sunny old Essex. Satnav says it'll be 1hr 40min but you can bet it'll take longer once I hit the m25. Really excited though and hopefully my kids sleep well tonight otherwise my fellow Brit players might have to shoot me in the back a few times to keep me awake. [emoji2]
Regards,
Ralph
