The sun is shining, batteries are charged and borrowed my mates FJ fliegerbluse last night so I can feel like a proper Hunter from the Sky.

I mustn't forget the beer.
I mustn't forget the beer.

Call it 8.

Cheers

I've PM'd CW but I thought I'd post here just in case.

I'm having to cancel for a wide range of reasons, so apologies to all the organisers for a last minute change of plan. I'm gutted, but real life has just thrown too many curve balls over the last few weeks.

Have an awesome time everyone and please let the organisers know if they don't see my PM.

I've been "dampened" a lot more than most today but, I'm still looking forward to this as an escape from the shit that the arseholes that I work for keep throwing at me. Up to a "7". :good:

I heard about that on the news, and wondered if it affected you. Sorry, crappy times.

Cheers

It's going to be fun times for the organisers this weekend! I work for an organisation funded by the now defunct UK Film Council. :slap:

I should get a secure job like a teacher, nurse or policeman. There's no way the Government would cut funding to, or privatise, those sorts of jobs....oh, hang on....

Batteries charged, beer purchased, car packed. Up to an "8". Looking forward to this immensely, after 6 months since the last CiA event.

I though Woolies had close down. Can you get me some aspirin whilst you're at Boots? Ta.

Excitement running at around 2 now, as my new component shop battery has just fried (on low charge)

I've just emailed pics over and they will hopefully get one to me by 1st class mail tomorrow - so long as it arrives by 0900 I should still be able to get there in time ..................... and I thought I had all the bases covered :(

I'm sure someone can help out with a spare battery. What connector does it have on it?

The Sten is wired with a male Deans connector, but I've got a Deans<>Mini-Tamiya adaptor, which I was going to use with it, so either fitting would work .................. if someone has got a spare battery they could lend me, that would be superb :)

I though Component Shop were supposed to be ok ? Postage was a bit slow (which makes me dubious for delivery tomorrow) but that could have been Royal Mail's fault .................... maybe ................
