OK just edited the attendence, we've got a full 10 man section of SS for this TD
still need some guys from the Wehrmacht and the FJ. We'll be covering some good stuff in this one a bit of German foot drill, ambushes, recce patrols, period squad movement, section assaults and out flanking manouvres, all using WW2 German tactics. We're hoping to have a finale with a twilight mortar and smoke bombardment, followed by an assault on an enemy held defensive position, so it would be nice to have a second section to help out with this.

There was talk of getting a bunch of FJ together for this but tbh I don't know whats happening now. I'd like to make it if I can but I can't say for certain just yet.

Then why don't you PM as many FJ's as possible and try to get a squad together for the first time, have a look at this. This is part of what we need to practice, two squads would be a great help. One SS and one FJ and maybe a few Wehrmacht to fill up your ranks. We'll be doing a bit of recce, patrols and ambush tactics as well, we've got to start doing this at squad level. It's a ww2 movie from the US war department meant to show US troops how the German army operated, and picks over exactly what the German infantry section was designed for.

OK just edited the attendence sheet at the front, looks like we've got over 20 for the axis and about 17-18 for the Brits. Should be a good day's airsofting. I'll put up a map and a location plan shortly for those who don't know where it is. Be arriving Sat evening myself and three others from the North, so bring a few beers for around the camp fire if you want.

I'll be arriving at sometime in the afternoon and will be sure to bring a few cans and the hip flask. I'm not risking a bottle after what happened to the last one; they're all nearly new.
