james cahn has his over the front lip of his helmet in a bridge too far,,,,,,,,,,,
I keep the chin cup on when I play, it makes the helmet sit comfortably on my head when im running around... failing that I have it hooked on 1 side hanging down. It's good for when you play at urban sites, usually flip it up over my mouth to protect my teeth.

i am not the only one then

Another good source for US helmets, parts and general info is http://www.jmurrayinc1944.com/index.htm.
I got my M2 D-Bale Paratroop helmet from there some years ago as well as a couple of kits for replacing the suspension on two other helmets.

Got i hate the leather chin cup. Painful if it hits you as you run.
Thats why im gonna get a nice M1C with the canvas chin cup and do 17th Airborne lol
I always tuck my leather chin cup and A-frames up underneath the helmet suspension webbing, I never have the chin cup down and hanging around doing nothing and I nearly always have the web chin strap secured on the rear helmet lip.

i need a proper half inch tan net, i got a british modern one at the moment, its ok but i would rather have a tan one.
I've got two tan nets, one came with my M2 from Josh Murray and the other I can't recall for the life of me how I came by the second one. I've also got a green one which is good for Market Garden and anything else involving the M43 uniform.
