Off the top of my head I'm recalling the two bottles of brandy Kermit and I caned at 'Mist , or the parachute container full of red wine we necked at DDay , and then had to send Scott out on day two for more. :slap:

American beer is legendarily piss weak , and you Brits will all be tucking into your second pint of mild when you hit the deck .

I'll salute your pretty uniforms , but don't call it a drinking club unless you really mean it .

Ha ha , what about "Doughboys Glee Club ....." you could have a raffle and a dance to go with it .

And just for that comment it shall remain a 'Drinking Group'

I can't think of anything that would wind you up more :)

On a serious note , why don't you call it Pattons Piss Heads , you could all have that crazy uniform he designed for armoured troops ? The pea green helmets , breeches, pearl handled revolvers ....it would be different from anything else ?

Yeah but they hand out medals for brew making.

Medals left to right:

1 brew in service, 5 brews in service, veteran brews in service, brew with sugar, brew with scotch (winter campaign award)....

at least prince phillip served in ww2, so i guess we cant take the piss too much. he did earn some of those medals, probably most of them. but even he has less decorations than a US infantry private with 6 months service....
