My team and I started a reenacting group, we are still developing and we wanted the kit from "Kit Guides->101st"
Since ordering from web would cost us almost half of average croatian sallary, we decided to find a seamstress (I believe I used the right word). And ofc we found one, but the problem is that we can't find the desing/blueprint which she can use to sew us uniforms (upper part and leg parts only). Is there any way to find out how was m43 sewed or we are convicted to eat bread and water so we can afford the uniforms.
Thx in advance
No idea I'm afraid.
The Chinese, who seem to be experts at this sort of thing, just take one apart see how it's made and backwards engineer it all.

thx click so much.
and btw: sewing-cca 25 pounds per whole uniform + add material and thats it.
on web:lets say 100 pounds per uniform + 0,15% duty + 0,22 PDV +25 pounds of stupid taxes + 10 pounds of some useless papers= not cool

Try and find some Norwegian ones which are almost if not 100% exact as US WW2 ones and a hell of a lot cheaper-if you can find some that is ![]()
I'm not sure if he's still got any but Warren is advertising on his ShootNScoot website Norwegian M43 jackets from £30 http://www.shootnscoot.co.uk/ww2_american.php

it looks kinda strange :S
btw where we can find that "Norwegian" and why are they so cheap?
Norway copied the M43 and issued it to it's army, so Norwegian M43's are cheap because they are just army surplus, also because they were actually made for army issue they are generally better quality than reproduction ones.
Sometimes, depending on your browser, the ShootNScoot web pages don't display properly, however the best thing to do if you are interested is to PM warren as he's a member of this forum, also he has his own area on this forum.viewforum.php?f=17

I wish i knew
Thats the whole problem now due to the massive popularity of WW2 reenacting and airsofting there arent any cheap ones around any more.
You could buy unissued jkts not that long ago for £15-foolishly i sold the ones i had to buy an almost unissued US M43 which i dont wear as i dont want to ruin it-what a dumbass

I've got a rather frayed original too. The Norwegian ones are very close replicas, but not quite perfect. But no-one here gives a toss about that.
Trawl Ebay, go to militaria fairs or befriend a Norwegian serviceman to get hold of one!

I think the Norgis while not meant as repros are better than any of the actual repros available
Seeing as its Airsoft and not Reenacting what about French M47 jkts as an alternative??
Yeah, that would do. There are also some decent looking Italian ones knocking around that are good enough for 'looks as'.

My little sister picked up one of those from a local surplus shop and used it for Haggard.
We didn't have a clue what it was at the time but it looked pretty good.
so, my squad decided that we have to chose uniform (we are pretty darn fresh), so we are going to make order for all of us and we don't want to make a mistake so I decided to ask you again about that uniform from WPG.

We want this uniform, but the colour of trousers does not really match your "101st Guide". Is this ok to buy?
Don't worry. The colour varied dramatically between producers and dye batches. If they're from WPG they'll be fine. Bear in mind too that mine in the picture are old and well worn.

that is you in the kit guide picture?
Yarp.
