the words quality and SOF do not belong in the same sentance together unless quality is preceeded by the word SHITE

to answer your original question the post war norgy ones i imagine are made during a time where things werent rationed etc and were probably improved based on flaws in the original desgins. thats speculation mind you but a reasonable guess

Never had a problem with any of SOF items but i would always go for a Norgi M43 if you can find one in a decent size and decent price these days

Norgy M43's are very nice (I can't see any obvious difference to US WW2 ones). Very well constructed (they should as they are real military kit not repro!) with the same closely woven cotton sateen as WW2. Love mine to bits! (Don't think you will find them with the leg pockets though - I see it's the airborne look you want).

If you want to compare look at HS's jacket here: http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/zoom/us-101.html
See how it fits and sits on the body and how substantial it is.

Now look at the SoF picture...

Just noticed that SoF's new M43 airborne troos don't look too shabby though, a nice sheen to them..

I found some M43 Airborne Trousers on an ebay site somewhere but my computer died so i cant find out where it was, it might have been spearhead or somewhere else.

The sheen'll wash off; My WPG ones from back in 2004 were the same.
