Great stuff, very handy.
I wish I could get back onto ArniesAirsoft. I got banned there for "spamming", even though all I did was post some relatively meaningless posts in order to get the required 100 posts to get to the classifieds section. It didn't help that all my content-filled posts were in the Gear discussions forum, where posts are not counted. I tried explaining this politely to the moderators and admins there, but either received no response or was told basically to "f off".
The best part? I have a buddy in my college dormitory up here who also uses the forums, and since we're on the same university network our IPs match. So once I was banned for spamming, I was then perma-banned for "attempting to evade a ban by registering a second account". Hilarious. Numerous polite and professional emails to Arnie and other admins over there have gone completely unanswered.
Anyway, if someone could go to the Gear discussions > World War II kit section and find a post by my username titled "USMC Loadouts" or something similar and post the photo someone posted of a Marine's loadout, I'd be thankful. It followed a discussion about 30rd Thompson magazines IIRC. It was a black and white photo of a belt kit with an M1928A1 Thompson w/ drum mag at the top.
Thanks.
Eh, it was quite a long time ago. I've contacted Gadge to see if he could do something about it and he said he'd try.
@St Matt
Thanks for the link. some really great pics!
@Colosseum
The title of the thread was "Trying to set up a World War II kit". And the picture you are talking about is not a USMC picture.
It is an airborne picture.
Oh, well damn... never mind then!
