A lot of the rangers wore the corcoran jump boots too, and HBTs instead of mustards, and HBT jacket under their M41s

Ah, but I'm not a Ranger...

Depends on what unit your trying to be.

2nd Rangers wore HBT's with the odd few with jump boots, most had cut down leggings & roughouts.
5th Rangers wore wool shirts & trousers and everyone had jump boots.

Shoulder holsters were very popular with Rangers. Again its unit specific. 2nd Rangers had many pistols and 95% of the 5th Rangers had pistols in either Shoulder Holsters or Hip Holsters.

There isn't really such a thing as a generic ranger uniform as the 2 different battalions wore different stuff.

Also Airborne gloves are a big no, as the rangers got a good dressing down for wearing them if caught by their C.O.

But apart from that looking very sharp lads very sharp!

I have 3

1 Hip - Use for when badged as officer/NCO
1 Hip with USMC stamped on it - For Marine gear obviously
1 shoulder holster - For Airborne Rifleman

Much prefer a shoulder holster personally as its 20 times easier to draw from it than the clasped hip holster for me
