Reguarding historical correctness of reinactors, the mish mash of units from falshmejager to SS and British infantry to Us airborne you get at totaly ficticious V2 rocket scenarios in france on D-Day with the south staffs who never fought on D-Day and did'nt jump oput of planes at a certain festival of "HISTORY" i went to isnt exactly what i call "RE-ENACTMENT" if they cant get it historicaly correct i dont know what the world is coming too, but then realy all they want to do is show their expencive kit off the the public who dont know crap about history anyway lol until theres me standing there pointing out every single innacuracy out loud, still enjoyed the show though.
i always mostly enjoy the nepolionic era stuff and the boer war anyone up for Boer War, with martini henry airsoft guns which you load a single BB in each time lol
I still re-enact 1250 period of the Hospitaler Knights of St John of Jarusalem as a living history group and was a founder member of the Hoplite association (490bc) ancient greek, try to get as close as poss, but to get modern history wrong as re-enactors is unforgiveable! ha ha
a few of us have toyed with boer war idea, would be such a laugh single shot shel in a Kar 98 perhaps?
i feel we have strayed some what from the subject. all i wanted to know is. if the suit was worth my money.
I think the thread has gone off topic because your question has been answered in many useful ways but Headshot summed it up as "You pays your money, you takes your choice."
And you do have a choice, as helpfully outlined by other contributors.

i feel we have strayed some what from the subject.
Yup, that's the way it goes on this forum, welcome to thread hi-jack central ![]()

well Sgt winters lots of kit comes up on here from time to time and you can ask if its a good set or not, but as i put up some messages ago BIGUK's post would be my advice to follow, his kit is very good and a lot cheaper
