saw those a while ago in airsoft warhouse. nifty looking but pricey IMO

Bought mine about 18 moths ago from an American trader at a militaria show. Great having a gun bag that looks exactly like it's contents! :lol:

Who used them though? The airborne guys jumped without gun bags so were they for storage?

They are just a basic storage bag, any TSMG equipped paras jumped with it secured under their parachute harness. Of course the M1 para carbine had its own para holster and the M1 rifle had the Griswold bag that were jumped with.

the M1 rifle had the Griswold bag that were jumped with.

I have an orginal 1 of those with a busted zip, so gutted :(

i have a thompson and Carbine bag from them, very good quality and a realy helpfull guy too! dead happy with mine!
