The best way to deal with the current corcoran boots is to strip that sprated in paint finish with nytromoors, re-dye and get very busy with the brown polish.
The junk they spray on does not tale polish or dubbin very well and looks like shit anyway. The only way to bull the boots is strip them first.

Wow :shock: Nitromors????-Have you used this yourself??Thought it might be a little harsh for the boots/rubber soles and stitching.

Sure ive heard somewhere that lighter fluid will also remove the laquer/top coat-Never tried either so cannot realy comment :wink: :wink:

Yes and 3 years later they are still in one piece. It's better to take time and care and strip one area at a time rather than imerse the boots in the stuff. :D It takes even more time to build the colour back up with polish but it really is worth the effort if you want boots that look the part.
