Well ! just got back,.... what an enjoyable day ! Great to meet some of you Guy's, what a nice bunch You all are :D

The foreign contingent, great blokes, shame they didn't get more skirmishing in, but I think they enjoyed it.

Very nice site, and the weather improved, turned out just right.

Herr StubbleHopper,.... well done , appreciate the hard work you have put in , the training content, was impressive and informative ,for many, I'm sure.

The enemy,..... great bunch, and gave us a good skirmish at the end of the day, I trust there training was as productive as ours.

The Falshy Guys, nice pyros, nice Guy's , until you suddenly became Yanks in Fj clothing,..Prats :D

Big Cheers to Steve for lending me his Mp40, much appreciated mate.

Once again, thank you all for making me most welcome,.... I had a great time!

Will go through the Pic's I took ,and post up any good ones.

Nice photos Nelz, makes a change to see my ugly mug on here! Anyway thanks to everyone who turned up, had a great day. Special thanks to Keith for hosting us at Phoenix. Sorry we didn't get everything done that we wanted to. Oscha was a top man on the foot drill, Hstuf Vowarts leads a mean platoon of SS grenadiers, you all looked fecking awesome! The ambush went perfectly and the platoon movements looked very impressive. I hope everyone had a good day, and my apologies to Frontschwein, I'm sorry that you fell down that 6ft hole in the ground, but you have to ask yourself, what the hell were you doing walking about at 3 O'clock in the morning dressed as an SS man and falling down bloody great holes, hope your leg gets better soon. I'll post some piccies shortly.

PS> I think you'll be our first official black wound badge holder!

Got back home just turned 7pm. Fantastic day - thanks to SH and the team at Phoenix for making us all welcome - great training - really informative and very enjoyable. Personally, I would have loved a bit more skirmishing at the end, but what we did was good, except the bit where I got shot in the mouth - by one of those self same FJ masquerading as Americans - :x Ambushes were great fun -

Anyways, top banana all round - :top banana:

Guten Morgen Kameraden!!!!
Thanks for the great day and the great weather, think the weather got a strict order to show up with sunshine for the Yanks, FJ Guys (great job you ve dne!!!) and the SS. "Schlemmer" got the order to be the first one here, but will be still on the way home now, I think the will arrive safely arround 12 today MONTAG!!!! I got home just 2 hours ago, arround 8 o clock in the morning, f.... long trip. But everything safely, no ambush in netherland or france 8) 8) !!!! So next time, I hope you guys will invite us again, I will try to get a plane or something like this, faster, not so long etc. and may a few bucks more, but not a complete day driving.... :? :? :? A bit later I will post some pics or a link for a album.
We have now enough time, to may prepare some personal stuff for you guys, like dog tags, or paybooks, I can fill out them in the correct way etc. so if someone would like to get this, just a PM to me.
Again, thanks to Chris and to the section leaders, I only can remind me for one name, Nelz, so you and the other both, great job that you have done, your work in the field and to understand my bad english (I have to practice my english now much more, it was a shame that I had sometimes to search the right words deep in my mind..... :?:
And last but not least, thanks to Phoenix and the yanks for the warm welcome they gave to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hstuf. Vorwärts, 10,00 Uhr Monday morning
