I don't object as long as they don't marginalise themselves - I see no reason to make any of it private though. Anything remotely 'tactical' 
can be put the usual pre-game private forum.

Think it might be time to section the forum as the wwii reenactors one - British & Commonwealth, US, Axis and Russian. Don't want a load of PBI type sections really as it's going to get very messy.

No, I think we give them a tread of their own within the US section - no need to make it private but they can mod their own thread if they feel the need to tidy up spurious posts.
I'm drooling a bit at phpBB 3 s/w though - the sub-forum concept is very neat indeed, let alone all the other goodies....

When I was a kid living in Bristol my next door neighbour was a private chauffeur.
She was stunning - blond hair with shades perched on top. And an E-type.
And I can still remember sitting in her kitchen drinking Nesquick and eating golden toast dripping with hot butter and thinking this is the best house - ever! (I was about 10 at the time )

I see you've done the US forums... I suggest we do the same for PBI... i.e. change the name of the category... to Brit Forums (or whatever) and move it up, add in the extra forums as per the US one.

Can I suggest that the contents from the non-private axis and allied CIA forums are moved into the appropriate new general discussion forums and the old forums deleted...
Also all the moderation permissions on these new forums are wrong. I would mod them myself, but it seems someone has taken it on themselves to remove my Site Admin privileges without even mentioning it to me. A fact that I am VERY annoyed about.
'Gis a chance Rich! The Allied one is a bit tricky as it contains both Brit and Yank. It is mostly Brit so I'll push it 'your' way.
Well I would sort it.... and was about to! Only to find my permissions had gone!
