I dropped Anthony a quick PM asking that he keeps self-promotion out of general threads but encouraged his expert advice re kit. Offered a retailers section if he felt it was of use....
I just felt his 'buy from me' didn't sit very comfortably with giving impartial advice - and anyway, it's up to forum users to recommed suppliers.
Wasn't heavy-handed (I hope 
) just welcomed him and 'a word to the wise'...

He has taken me up on the offer of a retailers section - I have asked that he considers forum discount or special offers in return.
Any one know of any Brit/US retailers to restore the balance?
I know of loads of brit ones... whether they'd bother with a forum is another thing altogether... probably they'd not be bothered!
