I had major problems with this on another forum I ran not so long ago and DO NOT want a repeat of it.
Name changing should only be done when it is absolutely necessary... It is not appropriate to change your forum name on a whim.

Limit MUST be only when absolutely required.
i.e. a mistyped name on login, or a name change due to security (A Gregory's is almost this, to be honest though its bollocks as he calls himself that everywhere)
The problem is that before long everyone wants to do it and you lose track of the forum...
Can I ask that you change back the ones that have been changed and that if one is changed for a VERY good reason we have a thread on here that tells us organisers what has happened.

You can ask , however I'll leave it be for now . I agree , everyone changing every month will be a ball ache, these players have changed to show their allegiance ot a particular grouping within the Germans , as such it seems draconian ot change it all back . I'll make the point that once changed you stay as you are , and give them the option ot revert .
They could just keep their names and use a tag on their avatars.

To be honest I'd like any further name changes to be discussed here... They are pretty serious changes to the forums and make moderating (etc) all the more difficult.
In the old forum I was really rather strict... I'm not going to be here as I realise that this is a democratic group and that's fine...
