I've reopened the thread that Gadge closed for a reason:
There is no mention of "home made pyro". The OP is a qualified and trained pyrotechnician. The moment it *does* turn to homemade pyro, then delete that particular post, and send a PM to the guy or gal who posted it, but I see no reason not to allow the discussion of pyrotechnics, as long as it is entirely legal.

Hes on about making pyro and doens tstate its anything proffesional
we cant have one rule for hinm and one rule for others who we have told explicityl not to bring pyro to events

Please relock it as not only is it consistant treatment to members its also going to make us look liek were not unified.

Er, the clue there is "reusable" - pyrotechnics (and dont quote BFG's at me they technically *aint* a pyrotechnic - i'll get the full definition from the lady in DefSec @ work who deals with all out firearms and explosives licencing later this week) ain't reusable.
He's on about strobes and the like - i'll put up a post on that thread asking to clarify the situation.
