Thats true...Surely it'll just get smashed into a thousand pieces upon arrving at UK customs. Then sent to you in an envelope. With "with Love, UK customs" written on it?

My friend who is UKARA registered ordered tht for me lol so i hope not...

Cheers Alex

Is this illegal? I honestly can't remember if supplying to someone who isn't registered is illegal. Obviously if he sold it to him it would be illegal, but what about gifts?

Do we need to kill this thread is what I'm asking.

Gifting is legal! (well, not illegal anyway)

Cool. Wasn't sure there if there was a 'supplying' clause. Makes a complete mockery of it then doesn't it?

Yup, bonkers. It's not illegal to own (or keep) a RIF, just to be sold one (or import/manufacture one). It's akin to ciggies and alcohol isn't it - a 16 year old can't be prosecuted for smoking a fag or swigging cider although other specific laws apply with where and when, much like using BB guns.
