My AGM MP44. Still needs a bit of work on the stock as I'm not happy with the colour. All I've used is Humbrol Gun metal which was rigorously polished follwed by a generous coating of Humbol Satin Laqure to try and stop the paint coming off on my hands :x Actually improved the finish as it darkened down the gun meatl a couple of shades

As did I. What a tit that fella is, why bother getting a WW2 gun then treating it like a modern piece? :slap:

Was it the "Metalcote" gun metal colour in the little tinlets that you used? Used it myself a while back, like you say it rubs off everywhere and can end up looking tatty after a while(but not in a good way :slap: ). I also found it difficult not to get brush marks in the paint or a thinners which works ok with that type of paint - be interested to know if the laquer cures the problem of the paint rubbing off though?

But the pics look great; the colour looks pretty damned good - nice work there!

Dude, you'll have to host & post that pic elsewhere for those who are not Phoenix members to view. Unless, of course, its a pic of a bastardised MP44 where someone has managed to bolt RIS rails on it. Then i'd rather live in ignorant bliss

Nice to see someone using something a bit different in a systema/m249 world!

Good point. I rather like it. As said its different. I'd like to see someone covert one to the Blaster from Return of the Jedi. Forest troopers use them when they're fighting with the Ewoks. Get rid of the stock and stick a skeleton stock on, fit some kind of scope and do away with the mag. Hey Presto. Star Wars Tastic :good:
