My M14/m1 fires full auto only. Before I take it to peices does anyone know if this is a common fault? I've heard of people losing full auto.

Seen this a few times. The semi-auto latch that engages with the cam on the sector gear wears down so far that it cant trip the switch any more. Guarder do a replacement one.

Yup, thats the baby. One thing to be aware of is that its made from steel, therefore there will be accelerated wear on the cam of the sector gear (damn monkey-metal gears!). When that goes, just chuck a set of the Steel Guarder gears in there.
