I'm very, very tempted by the unpainted MP44s at Airsoft World but have a few pre-purchase questions:
How tricky are they to down-grade (familiar with AK geaboxes but little else)
Can you get extra mags yet
Is elbow grease and grate black the best way to get that 'seen a few scraps' look
