Well it seems we'v never had it so good with all the new rifles , iron airsoft SMLE , pps Kar98k , G+G's new Springfield and their Kar98k, several mosin nagant's and the shoot/n/scoot budget No4 .
when you look back a couple of year's it's almost a dream come true , reckon i'll be out of a job with the conversion's pretty soon as it's just not necessary with all the good new product's about .
So what's left on you'r wish list ?
a Bren ? it's the only one i can think of at the moment ! or a 30cal ?

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

M1A1 carbine AEG with folding stock would be nice.

Someone also needs to do an airsoft Stirling sub machine gun, but thats mainly so Starwars airsoft can become a reality :)

I'd like to see a G43, though I'd be a little worried too many German players wanting rifles might go down that route rather than the authentic bolt action K98. Perhaps a Webley revolver for the British officers? A widely available Bren would also certainly be a nice way to add a support element to Tommy infantry sections (Much like the Americans with their BARs). On a similar note I'd like to see a DP-28 for the soviets but I doubt that'd ever get made.

I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

Well I still want a beretta m38, my own project really got no further than plan's, cost and access to certain tools etc put a stop to that, I know there's talk of one, just hope it arrives.

I almost bought a iron airsoft SMLE but they just looked like too much work. so i got a grease gun instead.

Wish list wise
Springer SMLE (may just get the budget version from warren when i see one in the flesh) made by marushin but not a shell system
Air cooled lewis (i would prefer this over a Bren as it gives the ww1 vibe and star wars) made by S&T
Yay to a webley imagine if Tanaka did it with their gas system you get on the m10.

I honestly think just those 3 would make me happy. :happyclap:

i do have to admit that the perfect gun for me is one that's either in need of painstaking and detailed re working or got to be built from scratch , i honestly don't know what to do with gun's that come out of the box perfect in every way , my new toy pps k98k will need a re stain eventually(just personal taste not a nasty colour) thank god as otherwise i'd have nothing to do between games .

i've looked into those and it would be a tough build , might need a unique gearbox to do it justice , the one that was featured on a thread here was very good but i can't see a main stream one ever happening.

I'd like to think with gas systems getting better, guns like the FG42 and M1 carbine may be come available and useable. I got to have a go of a gas M14 at Bluestreak airsoft and it was very very nice to use, brought a huge smile to my face. I was thinking then, surly they can make Garand easily from this platform.

it took ages to get the two Garand's we now have let alone a gas one, and i'd think the only way to get a sustained fire support weapon such as the FG42 on gas would be a high pressure air system , no gas in mag system is good for more than 50 rnd's in full auto , realistic but not really commercial viable i'm afraid.

My personal choices would be:

Lee-Enfields No.1 Mk.III and No.4 Mk.I (Springer)
Bren
Lewis Gun
Webley
Sten Mk.III/V

A model I've always been interested in is the Sten Mk.I, which looks beautiful, but would never be seen on the battlefield. Lastly, I think a Kar98k springer for the Germans and the same for the Mosin Nagant would be nice to put some more rifles on the table for the main sides of the conflict.

Weapons:
King Arms M1928 Thompson Submachine Gun
AGM Sten Mk.II
CYMA M1911 EAP

Redwolf Airsoft have showed photos of a prototype Sterling.
Unfortunately it's a bloody Canadian C1, not a British L2A3!

What IS it these companies have against British guns?

Berthier Mle 1916.

Yeah, I'd be interested in that.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a Steyr Mannlicher M1895, as the world and it's mother used it, same with the Carcano.

I'd like to see LMG's like the Bren on display a little more. Then again, from my limited observation of WW2 airsoft, I wonder whether squad support weapons really have that much to offer with the preponderance of SMG's and the comparative ranges. The ICS Grease Gun I used at RoTT had feckin monstrous range, with a good rate of fire. With site limits on FPS, aren't some of these guns simply about 'having the right gun for the right impression,' than offering any real advantage in game from the point of view of greater ranges, rate of fire or accuracy?

Just my two cents worth, really, spoken with massive, seasoned experience offered by two games. :D

Though if anyone wanted to make a Beretta 38, that'd be nice as well.

To enhance realism, we actually started limiting both the FPS and the BB weight of certain weapon classes in order to prevent the exact scenario you described above: a guy with an SMG, firing a sidearm round, out-ranging the guys with the battle rifles. Works quite well, and makes proper LMG setups far more useful.

Er...yes. Your point? ;-)

Actually I can't say I notice if a german has a VSR, Mosin or Garand, Mp44 or Thompson while we're playing, but it looks nice in pics if you have the right rifle.

This seems to be the way of things :)

After all, if we're going to dress up and play war in the forest with toy guns we may as well look the part while we're at it :giggle:

The one gun I would love to see more of either conversions or manufacturer built would be the Gewehr 43.
That would be my favourite of all airsoft weapons both for looks and use.
I love my recently purchased kar98 but I'm not sure how it will handle when up against the monthly blat fest until I can organise enough time to get to one of the milsim events.
