Technical help required! I removed the stock of my ACM Thompson, but when I came to put it back on, the metal piece inside the gun where the shorter of the two screws fits fell off and is rattling around inside the gun. ![]()
If anyone can describe in detail (pics would be nice!) how to strip it down in order to get this bit out, then I'd be eternally grateful.

Did exactly the same myself. Here's what you need to do:
At the rear of the body, just where it meets the stock there is a button.
Press this, grasp the top of the body and slide firmly forward
The body will come into two parts and you can see the pesky little metal bolt head.
I recommend fixing it in place with some elec tape.
The body just slides back together but be careful of those sharp metal edges!
