I'd like to make an inexpensive, basically a novelty Sten gun.
I have been following slick63's thread and have a basic idea.
I am doing a Sten MK3.
Shopping List:
1 foot long medium sized PVC piping and equivalent metal pipe
1 piece of wood
1 foot long thin piece of PVC
Cardboard
MP40 Mags
Some sort of gearbox and barrel...perhaps an LPEG P90? Would that fit?
Krylon Semi-Flat Black
Krylon Metallic silver
Krylon matte finish
In order to keep this similar to the original, I've researched some stats. I live in America so I've converted them to inches. Original stats from http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg38-e.htm
Weight, Empty:7 LBS...darn, I'll need to add weights and such
Total Length: 30 Inches
Next project is a Sterling, but be-jebus it'll be easy! I can just use the Star Wars blaster project plans
