The rifle shoots at 400fps, comes with one 30rnd magazine, a speed loader and a barrel cleaner. It features a fully adjustable hop up, rear leaf sight and it made from an all metal construction and a plastic stock.

Wow that looks really nice. Top work fella
Thanks for the compliment
On the production version that will be offered starting the 10th there will be three minor things added.
The first will be a bold release on the rear side of the reciver, the area right infront of that will be cut out in the typical U shape and the small bolt indent will be moved to where the bolt currently is now. The screw in the trigger bottom plate will also be changed to a hex screw and blackened as well.
The really cool part of this gun is that the bolt assembly and mag well assembly can be removed without taking the gun apart. The front barrel band/ barrel and sight assembly are also one removeable unit. The rifle is very easy to take apart and only requires the removal of one screw to dissasemble the entire rifle (this screw is nto a retaining screw there are several other things inside the stock which secure internals and this makes it very very durable). This is so that if you ever need to dissasemble the rifle at a game and in the field you can do it in under 30 seconds with minal tools (one small screwdriver)

Here are some pics from our lattest event. I hosted it on my property and we have 3 MGW rifles in use by the participents to put them through their paces.
We had the new MGW K-98 rifle in use by Frank
I used the M1903A1 Springfield Rifle
And Charlie used a new version of my Lee-Enfield No.4 MKI rifle

The $570 price is for either a wooden or plastic stock. The K-98 replica is built off of the Dboys K-98 and all I seem to be able to find on web sites are the plastic stock K-98s.
I will gladly build wood stock k-98s if I can find the wood dboys rifle in stock. Does anyone know if they have stopped makign the wood versions or something?

Looks like a cracking bit of kit TG. The question is why the hell didn`t the Chinese do a K98 like this instead of the shell ejecting junk which they turned out.
Well the Chinese dont actually build and design thier own weapons realy. What they did was take the only Marushin Shel ejecting rifle, back design it and then copy all of the parts, build molds and then make them for sale. They saved a huge ammount of money in the design sector by using and existing design and then copying it. For them it came down to how could they get a product out into the market with minimal investment. The anwser was to copy the old Marushin shell ejecting rifle.

NEW PRICE!
I found a supplier that had the plastic stock K-98s cheaper than the previous place I planned to order from. The new price for a K-98 Rifle is now $530.
I still am activly searching for the wood stock Dboys rifle but they seem to be sold out everywhere or no one carries the wood stock version.
