china has already released locaps too. 10.99 for 2. holds 47rnds each. unfortunatly they are full plastic. but feel very very sturday. the other slight problem is they seem modelled on the 30rnd mags not 20 rnd.

:? Does rsov still sell these?? They're made by CYMA, aren't they? I've searched in the CYMA section, and also searched for Thompson and M1A1, and not found it.

They've gone from the rsov site since yesterday, i'm assuming they've sold out, so i've just ordered one from gunner.

Cybergun is a subsidery of Sports marketing, based in colly, they have a french office, but their stuff is made in the far east.

What I want to know is that they claim that they have the exclusive rights to sell copy righted stuff from god know how many real steel firms IN EUROPE. Surly then, lets say RSOV for example are selling the stuff in HK but shipping to the uk. Because no government claims soverenty of the whole internet, and no money is exchanging hands in the UK they will be able to tell cybergun to get stuffed.

depends...

if cybergay agreed with cyma they had exclusive rights to the european market for this gun and cyma broke that agreement by allowing hong kong sites to ship it to england it could cause problems. especially if they signed a contract to that effect.

Some have speculated worse though that cybergun actually bought the rights to the whole first run so cyma giving any to someone else is a big kick in the jaxie for them

And actually syd if you go read their blurb on their site they are very much a french company. They started out in france for sure.

Knowing how cybergun operate, they claim rights to copyright and try and get exclusive european rights by bully boy tactics, then sell cheep stuff to market traders that sell it on to little kids.
Why they do this rather than get exclusive usage by price and service I dont know.

One of the things that I thought CYMA did was not use copyright markings on the guns making it 100% ok to sell them without a licence.

Rhys, I was told they were part of SMK by another of their stockists, 1 of the resons I stopped selling their stuff.

The whole deal stinks, it means 1 supplier can corner the market, which if I am not mistaken is in breach of anti monopoly laws and needless to say good seling practise.

just my 2 cents worth.

*nod* cybergun are definetly dodgy business ment syd

as for the logos.... its only illegal for cyma to sell logo'd stuff if they dont own the licence. being as cybergun are comissioning cyma to make them, and cybergun own the licence its fine as long as all the logo'd ones go to cybergun

I dont know about oddballs/spiers but mine came without the thompson logos on them.

they are only sprayed on with white paint anyway

The box is Cybergay though.

the thompson went out today for its first skirmish. open day at my local site. went in my full 82nd gear and the thompson turned more heads than my kit did lol. everyone wanted a play. it chrono'd at 350fps +/- a few straight out the box. so going to have to downgrade for ucap

performed really well. great range. great rate of fire. great hop up. very accurate. took out alot of people with it today

Keep using it, the spring will probabaly weaken, I put a M100 in one of mine & it was at 359 fps, 10,000 rounds later its now under 330fps,

Steve can you mod my Thompson so that the cocking handle goes back and forth?
