Working on a Wingun Mosin Nagant, naturally being Wingun the FPS is through the roof. Was hoping someone familiar with working on Co2 systems or has done something similar could offer some suggestions

This is what the mags look like

More pictures of the mag here abouts:

I'm happy to get more pictures of the mag and/or bolt if that helps,

Cheers.

I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

I had a couple of these for my Marushin M1s. Sadly, they didn't fit the mags as they were not open sided. But if they did fit, you could use different gas types at different times of year etc.

This WinGun/Gletcher MN have a kind of bug in magazine design. The first shot is much faster than others, up to 650FPS. This can not be healed.
The valve itself is a standart Gletcher CO2 valve which could be bored up to even higher power. No ways of reduction so far
But you may get a reduction of FPS by ajusting bolt firing pin. Release bolt back screw (note: this screw is assembled with thread locker! Use good screwdriver if needed) and assemble it back with a washer or two (or just leave it 1-2 turns before torque point). The FPS will fall, as firing pin will not hit valve with too much power.

With best regards,
