DE M47 shotgun mags for S&S Garand

Hi mate if its these your after...

They will fit as long as you do the same mods for the small shotgun mags. Although without having it next to me right now I will estiamte they will stick out about an inch from the bottom of the magwell.

Airsoft Club are stocking the smaller mags and was going to order quite a few but P&P was pretty expensive. If you (or anyone else for that matter) wants some and is willing to split p&p, import charges etc we could do a bulk order.

I think I have some of those small shotgun mags knocking around, from my now-defunct shotgun conversion. They've been pre-converted to fit the Garand magwell, from memory.

Okay Chaps,

I will do a bulk order for these on Monday. If you would like some please write how many you would like. I would prefer in mulitiples of 5 as its easier to calculate costs. At the mo the cost of 10 mags and P&P is 44.23 GBP unfornunatly the P&P scales up with each mag. so for example 20 would cost £87.22. The only plus side is we can split the parcel force handling fee and any import tax will only be based on the $3.49 mags. (not the ridiculious P&P!!)

So all in all i reckon it will work out a £4.50 - £5 per mag.

Thats not quite accurate, any import duty that is charged is only on the cost of the item, (this may only be a few percent 3 or 4 at the most), but VAT, (@20%), is charged on the cost of the item + postage + duty. I'm not sure if any duty is required for this type of item but you do need to factor in the 20% VAT on the total cost

Ah thanks pete for clearing that up. Hopefully we can sneak these in without paying through the nose for them!

When I received my mags from airsoft world, the customs declaration stated they were a gift so you would only have to pay customs tax if the cost was over £135.

This is a little breakdown summary from HMRC website:

£0.01 to £15 = No customs duty & No Import VAT
£15.01 to £135 = No customs duty & Import VAT due
£135.01 and greater = Customs duty due, but waived if the amount calculated due is less than £9 & Import VAT due

Yes mate that includes yours, il give the order 1 more day and will order tomorrow evening as quite a few people that expressed intrest haven't replied yet.
