As the title says is this suitable http://www.component-shop.co.uk/html/ln2s35c1000.html , I need to get one so I can fit my skeleton stock.

Also does anyone know how long component shop normally take to deliver.

Unfortunately can't really help you with the battery, I'd say it won't fit but I haven't tryed. I'd say try measure the inside of your sten the best you can

As for the component shop, if I can rember right it's 2 - 4

Hope this helps you out a little

All I can say is it might. And it might fit better than the 850mAh I'm using:

Yes, it will. I had 2 identical ones for my Sten.

I'm going to try one.
I could do with a shorter one - the higher capacity is a bonus.

I can now confirm that battery WILL fit in a Sten. But only just...
The wiring needs to be jiggled around a bit, and I'd not like to try it with Tamiya connectors on it (mine has Deans).

I have already ordered 2 of these and some deans connectors, hopefully I should get them in time for the weekend. I'm just making the, hopefully minor, adjustments to allow me to fit my skeleton stock.

That's why I use the receiver LiPo. I just recently changed to Deans anyway, so I didn't have a problem there.
The problem I have/had with the 850mAh LiPos is they're a bit long, and there's little room for the stock screw to protrude into the battery area.

what deans connectors are you using? Micro deans are very good, I have them in all of my AEGs now :)

The normal red ones.
But the deans connectors aren't the problem, the wires are.
There's no room for them to go down the side of the pack. As mine was supplied with them taped there, I had to relocate them.

I use Deans' "XT60" connectors on my STEN. They've got very good and secure sprung round connectors (rather than the flat sprung contact plates of Deans' "T" and "XT") and are a bit bigger than normal Deans "T" or "XT" types, which help when pulling them apart (not having to pull on the wires).

I've now got 2 of these and I have to say I don't find them a particularly tight fit, I've invested in one of the bleeper alarms to let you know when the battery is getting too low and even with that fitted there's enough room, the only thing I been careful off is to make sure the lead doesn't go where the screw comes through just in case it gets trapped and damaged.
It was just a shame that I didn't get the charger that I ordered so I had to use my other standard sten at this weekends game :( .
