Looking at custom building an SMLE,
The cheapest way to get furniture & all fittings would appear to be the Denix SMLE but would only work if it is possible to fully disassemble it.
Does anyone know if it is?
Or has any other reason as to why this definitely would not work?
Look up Scvngr, from New Zealand in "Today I" . He has done this conversion a good job too by the look of it.

Thanks Andy,
I hadn't considered searching for "Denix SMLE" in the forum as it's not technically airsoft, but now I have I've had all the information I was after.
Sounds like a minefield, much better to start from scratch with genuine parts or buy a Shoot & Scoot
Knowing what I know now, I would opt for making one from scratch, I bought a kit from Warren,( S&S) but it took a fair time in getting to me, I'm not complaining, I like Warren, but he's a busy lad.
In the time it took to receive, I've nearly collected all parts to make one, so when I've finished the kit, I will make another, ( already got someone who wants it!) the kit itself is good, everything there you want just needs fettling to how you want it. But not a cheap thing to buy, but your choice.
Andy.

I'm probably going to go from scratch and getting as many of the genuine parts as I can, did a No.4(T) previously, I'd just like to do a nicer job this time!
Don't.
