FPS Limits?

My point is that teeth breaking is not a good guide... almost any aeg at most engagement distances is capable of breaking teeth, they are surprisingly fragile when hit in the wriong way... whether it is likely is another thing altogether.

Agree, the major point was not really the teeth breakage, more the awareness that as the fps climbs and so the bb weight, the actual damage that can be caused climbs in an exponential way so engagement distances matter greatly.

If anyone is curious, disagrees with me or has a hatred of jelly, one test is two guns, aeg at 330 ish and sniper 400 plus and a stack of jelly pots from the supermarket.

Lay them on the side at set distances and put one round into each from each of the guns changing the distance and bb weight. The penetration into the jelly through the foil lid will show the energy.

Roll on the discussions about losses due to different flavours

If you have it, balistic gel is better but doesn't taste as nice.

Completely lost me there, however it's losing sight of the original questions that were asked and answered.

I've bought a Systema M100 spring, Judging by the power guide it was increase it to about 330fps-ish. The gearbox internals are standard AGM..would anyone suggest upgrading anything else in the gearbox for reliability?

i keep all my AEG's roughly about 310 to 325fps,in that way you can use them at any sites,my .30cal is 365fps and i keep that at 20mtrs.
