with a spare mag?

Airsoft Scotland had a few before xmas.
I believe Airsoft Skirmish have a few as well.

I understand there are some problems with them, but that they're not bad.

Everyone I know who's got one says how good they are, Guy - but mine was dead as a dodo when I got it. I p/x'ed it for my P38 Walther.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

I was so impressed I got 2 now, both from Airsoft World, they crono at over 310 fps, they come with a extra mag too, in the winter they can have problems but on days like this they are good,

Well I'm also tempted.

I'm going to have a go at fixing my KSC 1911 tonight... but if that fails then I may just be in the market for one of these.

Oddball, I can't see them at ehobby.... full markings is very tempting! Can you supply a link please? Though all their guns are shown with orange tips, which is a put-off.

Airsoft World (still prefer to call 'em Airsoft Scotland, a much better name) don't seem to have them in stock... :(

I don't trust Zero One to have them in stock either, also why do they only sell them with one mag and everyone else with 2?

Not sure about stock levels @ Z1 but I confirm that it came with 2 mags, like every other sellers. I did buy a couple of extra ones from elsewhere also

Sorry no listing for them at ehobby now!
ehobby

They had them last year for about $120.

You could try Keith at RSOV where I got both of mine

He has the commander but I suggest you show him a picture of one as he is not sure what one is.

I spoke with Zero one about the 1911 a fortnight ago, and they said theyre only supplying them with a single mag, so I presume theyre taking one out as they come with two as standard (hence why i've not bought from them)

The guys at Airsoft world, are waiting for new stock basically because the initial batch apparently had dodgy gas valves so they're waiting for the new versions with the improved gas valve on the mags..... which they say should've been done a couple of months ago according to Steve M.

I have some cold gun blueing at home... do we know what metal this is made from?

As far as I'm aware it only works on iron/steel.

Monkey metal, I got 2 of them from Airsoft World, the mags loose their gas in a few hours so if you dont fire it by say lunchtime re gas it, 1 charge does 1 mag of bbs, they shoot at 320 fps ish though, the finish is very dark grey so I have touched mine up with a mix of matt black & matt grey humbrol paint where I have chipped them, its a great match, they are nice to use though although Steiner got a duff one, I don't think the mags are interchangable with the TM 1911A1,

I removed the valves & put silicone oil on them but it made little diffrence, I think if you get the later mags you may be ok, mine are the early ones, you can get the tool for taking the valves out from ehobby asia,

I'm sure that when I first saw these on Airsoft World they said that they had carried out a 'fix' on the magazines which improved their performance, you could try contacting them to find out what they did.
