G43.......again......now finished.

hi all after my 1st attempt at the g43 did not get finished, i have decided to have another go but take a different route. the base gun is an a&k svd so it will be a single shot springer. i know this is not historically correct but it will hopefully be a fieldable gun and will look good in my rack lol. i have made a makeshift locap mag using the svd mag inside a cut down mg13 mag, as i have no g43 mags at the moment and the locap mag is too long for a g43 mag. i may be able to butcher a hicap to get it in the g43 mag but the real mags are quite expensive compared to the mg13 ones (which are only Â£8 each) so they will do for now. still a fair bit to do, the action cover needs finishing which will be integrated to the scope rail, and i need a zf4 scope mount to finish the rail. also need to source a front band and make a longer trigger, and im going to make the triggerguard as they are rediculously expensive and quite hard to get. a few pics of my progress. cheers, jay.

Given the number of 'interested parties' I would suggest - virtual sealed bids !! to start off with and have a reserve in mind, so you can ensure you get what you think it's worth.

Off to buy a lottery ticket, fingers crossed :wink:
