Was browsing through ehobby asia last night looking for a few bits n bobs when I stumbled across this. Never spotted it before but it seems to have been around for a while. Seems it was only made in limited numbers for combat use etc in ww2 and cant seem to google up any reviews of the airsoft version of it.

anyone have one, or used to, or has had the chance to play with one? kind of curious as its fairly cheap for what it is, ie full metal and wood.

Cheers

Rhys

I've seen one of these before, isn't it just a Mauser pistol with a long barrel and stock. Looks a bit silly if you ask me

aye it was a mauser pistol converted to a carbine. made in smallish numbers but I love its look. I love the mauser pistol too but thats probably due to being allowed to shoot a real one once.

my thinking of it was its pretty cheap so with a decent barrel in it, it could be a half viable rifle. plus its all metal and wood which is gorgeous

Is it 6mm or 8mm? Blowback?

At least it has a removeable box mag with the gas in the mag. Might be a reasonable skirmish weapon.

I've looked at it myself - looks v nice. I've got the standard broomhandle 712 and if the carbine feels as nice and shoots as well as that it will be a very nice weapon, and with a barrel that long it ought to make a half decent rifle as you say- :D

been all over google, acsuk, arnies and a few other places with no joy. a few people have asked about buying one but no one seems to have bought and reviewed one.

hows the accuracy and quality of the regular one richard?

A couple of mates had the broomhandles, nice shooter except in the cold. The carbine version is pig ugly though :D

The regular one, being metal, feels really nice - especially with the addition of the HFC wooden stock/holster - the only downside being that it comes with the long mag rather than the short one so it won't fit inside the stock with the mag in place. The long mag takes around 30+ rounds and one charge of gas will give you at least two-three mags. It only fires single shot - no auto and no BB of course but the accuracy is very good indeed, and it's pretty powerful too - I love it and will almost certainly have it with me on the 16th - :D

Echo to the above post,

But both my mags have gone leaky! The wood could do with staining down a bit to a more realistic colour. Otherwise quite accurate and a bit of fun.
