IF a VIVA Sten were to be available to the UK market very soon (and it's not beyond the bounds of possibility) and it's price was no more than £400 including down rating and delivery then would you be up for one?

Yes. Money is ready.
If I don't like it then I'm 100% sure I could sell it on.

I'd have one but don't want it down grading! If its too hot when it gets here I'd prefer to sort it myself.

as much as i want a Sten, if i'm paying £400 for a gun, it'll be an Enfield No. 4.
I think it is worth putting off buying a Para lid and proper Denison make do with a beret and a Belgian one to buy the sten.
It is a lot of money but it does complete the archetypical British airborne look (from a film sim or flyin g guts picture library point of view as that is where I learned my history

I would get one if it is around the £200 mark, if it's nearer to £400 then I would just get an Enfield No:4, could get it downgraded myself easy enough and would only have to pay for parts.
"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

After seeing the s&s one, I'd go for that over the Viva, as at least they will remain available till I've got the money, and I won't have to sell a testical to pay for it.

Yip ![]()
Just add it to the collection.
Tired ?? come and i will put you too sleep BANG BANG

Ill have one, I'm (still) making an Enfield so I don't have to keep any cash aside for that.
